HRG optimizes business development territories to better serve client need. 


HRG's business development and executive team came together at the September Solution Architect Advancement Strategy Session to optimize territory ownership to better meet the needs of healthcare providers nationwide. 

We found that accommodating client and employee-owner needs is not a mutually exclusive effort. Reorganizing service territories allows directors with family to stay close to home while veteran directors ready for new challenges have an opportunity to travel more. This not only allows for faster response time for clients, but provides employee-owners a better work-life balance.

Mark, a 24-year healthcare business development veteran,  joined the HRG team in early 2017 and is bringing his extensive experience in revenue cycle services and customer care skills to HRG's Midwest territory of Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, and Wisconsin.

Aubrey, a ten-year healthcare professional and Northern California HFMA Board Member, previously covering the Midwest territory welcomed the opportunity to take over ownership of Northern California, Nevada, Utah, and Colorado. Aubrey is very familiar with the area and is delighted to get to stay closer to home and her growing family, most recently, her baby girl born May 2017. 

Scott Johnson, previously a business development associate, was promoted to HRG Business Development Director and is now the territory director for Kansas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Wyoming. The addition of Scott has allowed Rik Lewis, a 34-year HIM revenue cycle solutions veteran and HFMA Washington/Alaska Chapter President, the availability to problem solve with HIM clients nationwide while still managing the Inland Northwest territory comprised of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, and Washington.

Kelly Ryan, 30-year healthcare and revenue cycle service specialist, will continue to expertly serve clients in the western territory including Arizona, California, Hawaii, New Mexico, and Oregon. 

Southern territories will be divided between Lee Waller and Terry Bumpus, both 24-year healthcare service specialists. Lee is serving Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, and South Carolina while Terry manages clients in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, and Tennessee. 

James Lezzer, 14-year healthcare and finance technology professional, will service the east coast territory and bring revenue cycle solutions to clients in Delaware, Washington D.C., Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Virginia.
