HRG Employees Give Back to the Community
Spokane Valley, WA—Local charities were visited by company employees who spent two hours assisting and completing requested tasks. Three facilities included the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery Center, the Spokane Humane Society, and 2nd Harvest Food Bank and each received help from groups of 15-20 HRG associates. Power washing, weed removal, field mowing, blanket making, and bagging of chopped carrots topped the list of requested tasks from these local charities.
Each quarter, HRG OPC associates partake in a two-hour company activity outside of the office. Greg West, HRG Vice-President, wanted this year’s 3rd quarter event to be “community” themed. Associates were excited to fold up their sleeves and lend a helping hand. Other fundraising will be done this month, as the company will hold a by-donation barbeque featuring a chance for employees to dunk a specified manager of their choice. The donations will be sent to the three charities listed above.
